A very gorgeous picture, Jim. I like it very much. I’m almost waiting for a deer crossing (or a boar… a very less friendly animal…). Are there boars in the Ohio’s forests ?
And the line on the middle of the road, even not a broken one, reminds me of a David Lynch’s movie ‘Lost Highway’ :))
Thanks, Maya. It was possibly the most beautiful scene I’ve encountered this fall! We have plenty of Whitetail Deer but I don’t believe any wild boar live in the area.
That’s what we said as we were headed down the road and into the scene… wow! I’m glad we stopped; the light was changing even as I shot photos of it. — JG
Around here any threatening wildlife was long ago exterminated. That’s both sad and good: I’m sorry to not see bears or boars or panthers. I’m glad to not have to worry about being eaten! — JG
That’s unbelievable! Perfect fall photography!
Thanks! I was en route to dinner just as the sun was setting and lit up the scene. I had to stop. I’m so glad I had my little Canon G11 with me! — JG

Gorgeous!! Looks like it should be framed and hanging on the wall. Fabulous colors!
Wow!

Wild boars proliferate in french woods and devastate farmlands nearby… especially corn fields.
