A Beach of Her Own: One way to secure your place on the beach is to go there when nobody else wants to. This woman was sunning herself today at Huntington Beach in Bay Village, Ohio. The wind was brisk, out of the north (across Lake Erie), with air temperature of about 65F degrees. Personally, when I used to sun myself, I preferred cool and quiet to basting in my own sweat with people cluttering up the place!
For the life of me I can’t believe that is Huntington Beach. I lived very close to that beach for 15 years and never saw that much sand. It looks better than most of our beaches here in Florida and they have to pump sand in from about 1/4 mile out in the ocean because of erosion.
Yep, that’s Huntington! I don’t think it looks any different but I don’t get to the beach very often. They may have trucked sand in here and I would not have known about it. I’ve been visiting Cahoon Park lately for “seascapes” but can’t get down to the water there.
Cool shot. I particularly like the framing.
